02 · Schedule Intelligence Available now
Understand what your schedule says.
Schedule Intelligence is the data backbone of MethoSys Intelligence, and it is in use today. It checks schedule quality and health, detects delays, analyzes the critical path and earned value, and tests what-if scenarios, with the AI Project Analyst on hand to explain the findings.
Most schedule analysis capabilities are available today. We keep improving the interface and adding features.

Scenario comparison: finish week
AI explanation (sample data)
The finish moved from week 32 to week 33 since the baseline. Procurement (long-lead) now runs 13 weeks instead of 10 and has become the driving path into Mechanical install.
Site preparation, Foundations, and Structure each have 1 week of float and are close to critical.
This describes patterns in the schedule data. It does not establish why the duration changed, which needs review by the project team.
Built for schedule owners.
Who uses it
Planners and schedulers, project controls managers, PMO leads, and project managers who are accountable for a baseline and its updates.
Typical uses
- Review the quality of a schedule update before it is issued.
- Understand why a finish date or milestone has moved.
- Compare recovery and compression options, and their effect on milestones, before committing to one.
- Ask questions about the schedule in plain language and get answers backed by the data.
From schedule data to a decision.
Connect your data
Read schedules directly from P6 EPPM cloud through P6 Pro Cloud Connect, or from your own Oracle, SQL Server, or SQLite database.
Check quality
Logic, constraints, durations, and float are tested against rules, with the activities to fix.
Analyze progress and the critical path
Slippage, driving paths, earned value, and earned schedule are shown against the baseline.
Explain the findings
Plain-language summaries sit next to the data, and you can ask the AI Project Analyst follow-up questions.
Compare options
Test what-if and compression scenarios on time, cost, and labor hours before deciding.
Ten capabilities, available and growing.
Available Most schedule analysis capabilities are ready and in use, and we keep enhancing them and adding new ones. Predictions are estimates, and findings show patterns in the data rather than proof of cause.
| Capability | What it does | Decision it supports |
|---|---|---|
| Check the plan | ||
| Schedule quality assessment | Tests logic, constraints, durations, float, and assignments against configurable rules, and points to the activities to fix. | Whether a schedule is fit to issue or needs correction first. |
| Schedule health monitoring | Tracks quality indicators across successive updates. | Whether the schedule is improving or degrading, and when to step in. |
| Schedule analytics | Analytical dashboards for activity, float, duration, cost, and labor-hour patterns. | Where the schedule is fragile or overloaded. |
| Understand what moved | ||
| Delay detection | Compares updates to the baseline and to the prior update to flag slipped activities. | Which delays to look at first. |
| Critical-path analysis | Identifies critical and near-critical paths and the relationships that drive them. | Where management attention affects the finish date most. |
| Progress and earned value analysis | Compares actual progress to plan, with an EVMS dashboard (CPI, SPI, estimates at completion) and earned schedule analysis. | Whether progress is converging on or diverging from plan. |
| AI explanations and the AI Project Analyst | Summarizes findings in plain language, and lets you chat with the schedule: ask questions, make changes, and run scenarios in conversation. | What changed and what to review, without reading the whole schedule. |
| Look ahead | ||
| Schedule risk and sensitivity analysis | Models duration uncertainty to show a range of outcomes, and shows which activities move the finish date most. | How much confidence and contingency a finish date carries. |
| Predictive schedule analysis | Estimates a likely finish range from current performance. | Whether the committed date is still realistic. Estimates, not guarantees. |
| What-if scenarios and schedule compression | Tests changes to sequence, durations, or resources against the baseline, and finds where the schedule can be compressed, by how much, and at what cost in labor hours. | Which recovery option is worth pursuing. |

Questions about Schedule Intelligence.
Is it available?
Yes. Schedule Intelligence is built and in use, and most schedule analysis capabilities are available today. Request a demo to see it on sample data.
What data does it use?
It connects to Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM cloud through P6 Pro Cloud Connect, with permissions-based access. For self-hosted deployments, it connects directly to P6 databases on Oracle Database or Microsoft SQL Server, and to SQLite for standalone users.
Does it replace P6?
No. It sits alongside P6 and your other systems. P6 stays the system of record.
How should I read the predictions and explanations?
As analytical aids. Predictions are estimates with a range, not guarantees. Explanations describe patterns in the data and do not establish cause, so a qualified scheduler should review them.
How do I get started?
